초등예비교사의 EPL 프로그래밍교육 관심도 분석

국문 초록

초등교사는 초등학교 소프트웨어교육을 위하여 EPL을 이용한 프로그래밍 지도 역량을 갖추어야 하고, 이러한 역량은 교육대학교에서 충분히 쌓아야 한다. 이에 따라 초등예비교사의 EPL 프로그래밍교육에 대한 생각과 태도를 파악하여 프로그래밍교육의 방향을 설정할 필요가 있다. 이 연구는 CBAM에 기반하여 초등예비교사 316명을 대상으로 EPL 프로그래밍교육의 관심도를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 초등예비교사는 비사용자의 프로파일과 가장 유사한 EPL 프로그래밍교육 관심도 특성을 보였다. 여자가 남자보다 EPL 프로그래밍교육의 정보에 대한 관심도가 높았고, 컴퓨터교육 심화과정 학생들이 다른 심화과정 학생들보다 EPL 프로그래밍교육의 세부 내용, 자신의 역할, 효과, 다른 사람들과의 협력에 더 많은 관심을 보였다. EPL실습을 한 학생들의 관심도가 농업생명실습을 한 학생들보다 전반적으로 더 낮았고, 프로그래밍을 좋아할수록 EPL 프로그래밍교육의 관심도가 높았다. 이에 따라 초등예비교사의 EPL 프로그래밍교육 요구를 파악하여 수요자 맞춤형 교육과정을 개발할 필요가 있고, 컴퓨터교육을 심화과정으로 한 초등교사들이 소프트웨어교육의 주체적 역할을 할 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 것이 필요하다. 초등예비교사의 프로그래밍 학습동기를 유지하면서 EPL 프로그래밍교육 역량을 향상시킬 수 있는 최적의 EPL 프로그래밍교수학습방법이 구안될 필요가 있고, 초등예비교사가 EPL 프로그래밍교육의 가치를 깨닫고 프로그래밍의 선호도를 높일 수 있는 프로젝트를 진행하는 것이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Elementary school teachers must have the ability to provide programming instruction using EPL for elementary software education. These competencies should be accumulated in the university of education. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the direction of programming education by understanding the thoughts and attitudes of EPL programming education for elementary pre-service teachers. In this study we analyzed the stage of concerns of EPL programming education for 316 elementary preliminary teachers based on Concerns-Based Adoption Model (CBAM). As a result, elementary pre-service teachers showed the most similar EPL programming educational stage of concerns to the Nonuser profile. Women were more interested in information of EPL programming education than men, and students in computer education major showed more concerns in details of EPL programming education, their roles, effects, and cooperation with others than students in other major. The interest of students who practiced EPL was generally lower than that of students who practiced agricultural life, and the more programming they like, the more interested in EPL programming education. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a customized curriculum for the elementary pre-service teachers by grasping the needs of EPL programming education, and it is necessary to provide a way for the elementary school teachers in computer education major to play the main role of software education. It is necessary to develop the optimum EPL programming teaching and learning methods that can improve the EPL programming education ability while maintaining the motivation of learning programming of the elementary school pre-service teachers, and it is necessary to carry out projects that elementary preliminary teachers to realize the value of EPL programming education and they can increase programming preference.
