The objectives of this study were to review the concept of technological literacy and to measure the technological literacy level in Elementary school teachers.
To achieve the objectives of this study, this study was carried out through reviewing literature and measuring the technological literacy level in Elementary school teachers. The structures of technological literacy concept were defined technological contexts which were a manufacturing technology, construction technology, information & communication technology, transportation technology, biological technology, and the technological impacts which were technology & human, technology & society, and technology & environment. Theory were based technological literacy level test tools.
The major findings of the study ware as follows;
1. The average score of technological literacy of elementary school teachers was 15.57 (perfect score 26.0).
2. The man teachers had higher technological literacy level than that of the woman teachers.
3. The technological literacy level of the teachers, who had teaching experience over 20-years, was higher technological literacy level in the construction technology, biological technology, and technology & human than that of any others. The technological literacy level of the teachers who had teaching experience under 20-years, was higher technological literacy level in the technology & environment than that of any others.
4. The teaching experience of the teachers was the statistical significance. The technological literacy level of the teachers who had teaching experience under 10-years, was higher than that of any others.
5. The location of school was the statistical significance in the transportation technology and the technology & human. The technological literacy level of the teachers who were in the rural school, was higher than teachers were in the urban school.
6. The teachers who had the high attitudes toward technology about the technological literacy level, were higher than the teacher who had the low attitudes toward technology about the technological literacy level.
