건축 아카이브 운영 계획 모델에 관한 연구

국문 초록

아카이브에 관한 기존의 건축 분야 연구들은 국내에 미비한 건축 아카이브의 물리적, 시스템적 확보에만 집중하여 ‘아카이브 현상’이라는 용어 속에서 볼 수 있는 사회적 변화의 수용에는 상대적으로 관심이 적었던 것으로 보인다. 이러한 사회적 변화를 수용하기 위해서는 물리적인 아카이브 공간과 시설의 확충이나 개선보다는 기록물의 수집, 보존, 연구, 전시를 통한 정보의 전달과정을 다루는 아카이브 운영의 기본 체계에 변화가필요하다고 보아 정보의 전달 방식에 대한 전문 연구 분야인 의사소통 모델을 분석, 도입하여 새로운 사회적 변화를 수용하기에 적절한 건축 아카이브 운영계획 모델을 제안하고자 하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구 결과 정보전달과 관련된 의사소통 모델 중에서전달자로서의 아카이브 운영자와 수신자로서의 아카이브 사용자로 구분하는 행위모델이 아니라 함께 건축 정보를 생성하고 소비하는 참여자라는 관점에서 접근하는 상호교류모델의 적용이 필요함을 확인하였고, 아카이브 운영 계획 모델을 의사소통모델의 구성요소인 코드(Code), 매체(Media), 전달자(Sender), 정보원(Source), 송신기(Encoder), 수신자(Receiver), 수신원(Destination), 수신기 (Decoder), 경로(Channel), 접속(Contact), 장애요소(Filter/Barriers), 소음요소(Noise), 선별 (Filtering), 피드백(Feedback), 문맥(Context)으로 구성하여, 기존 연구에서의 공급자 중심 운영 계획보다 공급자와 수요자모두를 고려하는 관점에서의 세밀한 접근이 가능하였다. 단순히 건축정보의 보존이나전달이 아니라 기존 정보의 가공을 통한 새로운 정보를 만들어 내는 활발한 문화생성의장으로서의 건축 아카이브의 역할을 제안한 것에 본 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Existing architectural research on archives seems to have less attention to the acceptance of social change seen in the term ‘archival phenomenon’ by concentrating only on the physical and system securing of architectural archives which are insufficient in Korea. In order to accommodate this social change, it is necessary to change the basic system of archiving operation that deals with the process of information transmission through collection, preservation, research, and exhibition of records rather than expansion or improvement of physical archive space and facilities. The purpose of this study is to propose an architectural archive operation planning model suitable for accepting new social change by analyzing and introducing communication model which is a specialized research field. As a result of research, it was confirmed that it is necessary to apply mutual exchange model approaching from the viewpoint of participants who generate and consume the building information together with not the behavior model that divides into the archive operator as the sender and the archive user as the recipient among the communication models related to information transmission. The archive operation planning model is composed of 16 elements of Message, code, media, sender, source, encoder, receiver, decoder, path, channel.contact, filter /barriers, noise, filtering, feedback, context. This research has significance in suggesting the role of architectural archives as a place of active cultural production that produces new information through processing of existing information, rather than merely preserving or transmitting architectural information.
