CT 조영검사 시 Dual Trasfer set를 통한 업무의 효율성 및 근무만족도에 관한 연구

국문 초록

목적 : CT 조영검사 시 조영제를 인젝터 시린지에 담기 위해 기존에 사용중인 Single Transfer Set(STS) 대신 새로운 Dual Transfer Set(DTS)를 제작하여 임상 적용했을 때 방사선사의 업무 효율성 및 근무만족도에 대하여 평가하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 2013년 1월부터 2013년 12월까지 CT 검사를 시행했던 환자들 중 조영검사를 위해 새로 제작한 DTS를 이용하여 조영검사를 한 41,041건을 대상으로 하였다. 사용된 조영제는 주로 100ml, 150ml, 500ml, 1000ml였으며, 기존의 STS에 비해 DTS를 사용했을때 조영제 준비시간의 단축정도와 업무의 효율성 등 설문지를 통하여 근무만족도를 비교분석하였다. 결과 : 2013년 검사 총 건수는 65,457건이었으며, 이중 조영제를 사용한 건수는 41,041건으로 전체건수대비 62.7%를 차지하였으며, 조영검사 건수 중 대용량 조영제(500ml, 1000ml)를 사용했을때의 비율은 약 47.65%로 절반에 가까운 비중을 차지하였다. 조영제 준비시간을 분석한 결과 STS에 비하여 DTS를 사용하였을때 1건당 평균 30초의 검사시간이 단축되었다. 설문지를 작성한 방사선사 15명중 ‘처방별로 조영제를 사용한다’는 경우가 10명(67%), ‘성분명이 다른 조영제를 혼합사용하지 않는다’는 경우가 11명(73%), ‘기존의 STS보다 DTS를 이용했을때 검사준비가 용이하다’는 경우가 12명(80%), ‘DTS 사용 시 조영제 준비시간이 단축된다’라는 경우가 12명(80%), ‘DTS를 타병원에 추천할 의향이 있다’는 경우가 12명(80%)로 나타났다. 결론 : CT 검사건수는 CT 개발 이후부터 현재까지 증가 추세에 있고, 앞으로도 증가가 예상되며, 그에 따른 조영제 사용빈도 또한 증가할 것이다. DTS를 사용함으로써 대용량 조영제를 자주 교체하지 않아 감염 예방, 남아있는 조영제의 손쉬운 사용, 처방된 조영제를 사용함으로써 부작용이 발생한 환자의 관리, 준비시간 단축을 통한 업무의 효율성과 그로 인한 검사대기시간 단축, 조영검사 준비 시 간편함 등으로 근무만족도가 향상되어 임상적용을 적극 권장하는 바이다.

영문 초록

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to research of radiologic technologists’ work efficiency and satisfaction by using Dual Transfer Set(DTS) instead of previously used Single Transfer Set(STS) to fill contrast media on Auto injector syringe in CT enhancement. Materials and Methods : From January 2013 to December 2013, 41,041 patients who underwent CT enhancement study using DTS were included in this study. Contrast media were used 100ml, 150ml, 500ml and 1000ml. Contrast media preparation time was checked between STS and DTS. Radiologic technologists’s work efficiency and satisfaction were checked by questionnaires. Results : The total number of tests in 2013 was 65,457 and CT enhancement were 41,041(62.7%). The cases of using large amount contrast media(500ml, 1000ml) was 47.65%. Contrast media preparation time using DTS was shortened CT scan time of 30 seconds than using STS. Radiologic technologists who participated in the questionnaire was 15. The case of using contrast media by prescription was 10(67%). The case of not using a mixture of two different contrast media was 11(73%), The answer that preparing the CT scan using DTS than using STS is easier was 12(80%). The answer that preparation time of CT scan reduces when using DTS was 12(80%). The answer that there is willingness to recommend DTS to other hospital was 12(80%). Conclusion : The number of CT scan is increasing since CT scan was developed and It is expected to increase in the future. It will also increase the frequency of use of contrast media. Using DTS in CT scan is expected to prevent infection because it is not necessary to replace a large amount contrast media frequently. It is ease to use of remained contrast media and is useful to manage of patients with side effects. Reducing CT preparation time will improve radiologic technologist’s work efficiency and satisfaction and it also will reduce CT check wait time. In this reason, DTS clinical application is highly recommended.
