기혼여성의 심리사회적 요인이 우울에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 배우자가 있는 기혼여성의 우울에 대한 개인, 가족, 사회수준의 심리사회적 요인의 영향력을 살펴보고, 소득 수준에 따라 관련 요인의 영향력에 차이가 있는지 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 9차년도 한국복지패널 자료를 활용하였으며, IBM SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 조사대상자의 나이가 많을수록, 건강이 좋지 않을수록, 소득이 적을수록 우울감을 더 많이 인지하는 것으로 나타났고, 둘째, 자아존중감이 낮을수록 더 많은 우울감을 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 가족관계 및 배우자와의 만족도가 낮을수록 더 많은 우울감을 인지하는 것으로 나타났으며 넷째, 직장생활, 여가생활, 친분관계 만족도가 낮을수록 더 많은 우울감을 인지하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 자아존중감을 비롯한 심리사회적 요인들은 기혼여성의 우울감에 유의미한 영향 요인으로 작용하고, 소득은 우울을 더욱 가중시키는 요인으로 작용한다 할 수 있다. 이러한 결과는 기혼여성의 우울감을 감소시키고, 우울증을 예방하기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 있어 건강상태, 심리 요인 그리고 사회경제적 여건 등에 따른 다양한 맞춤형 상담적 개입과 상담교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of psychosocial factors associated with depression of married women, such as individuals, families and society level according to income level. To accomplish this purposes, Korea Welfare Panel 9th year was used for data analysis and data was analyzed with SPSS 21.0. Major findings were: first, the depression of married women, were noticeably increasing caused by age and health, and the low-income appeared to be increasing depression even more. Second, within individuals’ psychological factor the more egos and low esteem are the more depression felt. Third, a higher family satisfaction reflects a higher satisfaction with a spouse, which also reflect low depression. Fourth, in the social factor a higher career satisfaction can reflect a higher leisure satisfaction, leading to a higher satisfaction with friendships, which lead in reducing level of depression. These psychosocial factors, including self-esteem, have a significant influence on the depression of married women, and income has been found to be a factor to increase the depression. These results suggest that it is necessary to develop various personalized counseling intervention and counseling education programs in order to reduce the depression of married women and to find ways to prevent depression in terms of health status, psychological factors and socioeconomic conditions.
