이순신 인지도 조사를 통한 리더십 교육모델 검토-아산·천안지역 초·중·고 교장을 대상으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 아산·천안 지역의 초·중·고등학교 교장들을 대상으로 위인에 대한 인지도와 이순신 리더십 교육에 대한 의견을 알아보기 위해 설문조사 실시 결과를 분석한 것이다. 총 166부의 설문지를 배포해 회수된 136부 중에서 신뢰도가 떨어지는 25부를 제외한 111부를 최종 분석하였다. 분석결과 111명의 아산·천안 지역의 초·중·고등학교 교장들 중 67명이 우리나라 대표위인으로 세종대왕을 꼽았으며 32명은 이순신 이라고 응답했다. 이순신 장군이 아산·천안 교장들이 선택한 존경하는 위인 1순위는 아니었지만, 이순신 정신 교육과 리더십교육에 대한 필요성은 높게 나타났다. 이에 청소년을 대상으로 하는 이순신 장군 리더십 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 이순신 리더십 교육에서 위기의 나라를 구한 이순신의 전략을 가장 높이 평가하고 있는 만큼 전략적 측면에서의 리더십 교육을 강화할 필요가 있겠다. 교과서에 많은 정보를 담을 수 없는 만큼 청소년을 위한 특강이나 교과 외 프로그램을 마련하여 이순신의 리더십 교육을 활성화시켜야 한다. 이순신 장군을 교육모델로 삼아 그 분의 정신을 함양하고 전략과 전술로써 현재 우리가 직면하고 있는 국가적 위기를 이겨내야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study surveyed the principals of elementary, middle, and high schools located in the region of Cheonan and Asan to find the degree of their awareness about historically great figures and identify their opinions about the Yi Sun Sin Leadership Education. Total 166 surveys were distributed, and 136 surveys among them were collected. Discarding the 25 surveys that had low confidence level in their answers, total 111 survey answers were finally analyzed. As a result of analysis, among 111 principals of elementary, middle, and high schools located in the region of Cheonan and Asan, 67 people selected King Sejong the Great as the representative hero of Korea, and 32 people selected Yi Sun Sin. Even though Admiral Yi Sun Sin was not the number one national hero selected by the principals in Cheonan and Asan, it was shown that it is desperately necessary to educate the students with the spirit and the leadership style of Yi Sun Sin. Therefore, the teenagers must be educated with the leadership of Admiral Yi Sun Sin. In the Yi Sun Sin Leadership Education, as the strategy of Yi Sun Shin which saved the nation in crisis rates the highest, leadership education must be strengthened in the strategic aspect. Since it is impossible for a textbook to contain much information, a special lecture or extracurricular program for teenagers must be devised to actively make them learn about the leadership of Yi Sun Shin. By taking Admiral Yi Sun Shin as a model for education, his spirit must be fostered for the students, and we need to overcome the current national crisis that we face with tactics and strategies.
