국문 초록

본 연구는 개정교육과정(2007) 국어과 교육 내용 범주로 새롭게 설정된 <맥락>의 교재화 방향에 대하여 탐색하는 것을 목표로 하였다. <맥락>의 설정 취지와 의의 및 각 영역별 구체적 교육 내용 요소를 살펴보고 국어과 교육에서 <맥락>의 교육적 특성에 대하여 정리하였다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 <맥락> 교육 내용이 교재로 구체화될 때의 방향을 설정하였다. 첫째, 학습자들로 하여금 국어 수행 활동 과정에서 반성적 사고를 할 수 있도록 안내하는 교재가 되어야 함을 강조하였다. 둘째, 교실에서의 국어 수행과 일상에서의 국어 수행의 관계를 충분히 반영하는 교재를 구성하여야 함을 확인하였다. 셋째, 국어과 교육에서 <맥락> 속의 국어 수행을 강조하게 되면 주로 상황이나 주제 중심 통합 지향의 활동과 교재가 마련되어야 할 것으로 보았다. 넷째, 학습자 개개인의 삶의 맥락에 대한 이해와 상호 다양성에 대한 인정을 바탕으로 학습 활동이나 교재의 선택과 상호작용을 지향하도록 하는 교재 구성을 강조하였다. 다섯째, 국어 교재에서 활용되는 텍스트는 삶의 맥락 속에서 의미결정성을 획득하므로 학습자들의 삶의 맥락에 유의미한 살아있는 텍스트로 제시되어야 함을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to quest for the direction of utilizing , which was newly established as the category of Korean Language Education Content for the Revised Curriculum (2007). It examined the purport and significance of establishing , and the specific educational-content element by each sphere, and arranged for the educational characteristics of in the Korean Language Education. And, based on this, the direction was established when the educational content in is specified as teaching material. First, the emphasis was put on the necessity of being the teaching material that guides learners to possibly have the reflective thinking in the process of Korean-language performance activities. Second, the necessity of forming the teaching material was confirmed, which fully reflects the relationship between the Korean-language performance at a classroom andthe Korean-language performance in daily life. Third, when being stressed the Korean-language performance amid in the Korean-language education, it was considered that activities and teaching material will need to be arranged, which aim at integration mainly centering on a situation or a topic. Fourthly, the emphasis was put on the composition of the teaching material in order to aim at selecting learning activities or teaching materials and at interaction based on the understanding about the context of life in individual learner and on the recognition on mutual diversity. Fifth, the text, which is utilized in the Korean-language textbook, acquires the determination in a meaning amid the context of life, thereby having confirmed the necessity of being presented as a significant living text in learners’ context of life.
