학습보조교사 활동과 수학에 대한 정의적 특성 및학업성취도와의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 수학 수업에서 학습보조교사의 활용이 수학에 대한 학생들의 정의적인 특성과 수학 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 이를 위하여 인천 지역 중학교 1개교 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 1년간 학습보조교사를 활용한 학급의 정의적 특성과 관련한 변화를 3월, 6월 9월, 12월의 네 번의 설문조사를 통하여 확인하였다. 수학 학업성취도와 관련한 변화는 학습보조교사를 활용한 학급과 그렇지 않은 학급으로 나누어 그 결과를 비교하였다. 연구 결과 수학에 대한 흥미, 자신감, 수학불안 등의 요인들은 전반적으로 향상된 것으로 나타났고 학습보조교사가 수업에 참여한 학급이 수학 학업성취도에서도 긍정적인 변화를 보였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of using assistant teachers in mathematics lessons and the change of students’ attitudes to mathematics. In order to do so, we compared middle school students who participated in mathematics lessons with assistant teachers and students in mathematics lessons without assistant teachers for a school year. We surveyed students about items relative to attitudes on mathematics four times with same items to examine the changes of the attitudes and compared results of mathematics achievement tests in the school. As results, we found that the factors such as interest in mathematics, self-confidence, and anxiety of mathematics improved overall. In addition, students who participated in lessons with assistant teachers showed positive changes in mathematics achievement.
