국문 초록

본 연구는 핵심역량을 균형있게 함양하기 위해 개발된 대학 비교과 교육과정 및 운영 체계 사례를 통해, 비교과 활동 성과와 관련 변인들 간의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 비교과 활동의 계획 수립과 운영의 방향성을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 D 대학교에서 시행 중인 비교과 교육과정에 참여한 대학생 8,016명의 비교과 활동 자료를 바탕으로 학생의 배경 변인에 따른 비교과 활동의 성과 차이를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 학생들이 비교과 활동에 참여한 노력과 실적을 비교과 활동 성과로 설정하고, 이를 정량적으로 나타내기 위한 비교과 활동지수를 개발하였으며, 학생들의 계열, 학년, 성별, 입학유형, 복수전공 여부, 성적(학점)에 따른 비교과 활동지수의 차이를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구결과 학생의 배경 변인에 따른 비교과 활동 성과의 차이가 유의미하게 나타났다. 예체능 계열, 3학년, 여학생, 수시모집 학생, 복수전공 학생, 고학점의 학생이 다른 집단에 비해 비교과 활동 성과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 학생의 특성에 따른 비교과 활동의 계획수립이 필요하며, 수업과 수업 외 활동을 연결하는 비교과 프로그램의 개발과 비교과 활동에 대한 성과를 관리하고 지원하는 대학 차원에서의 노력이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to introduce curriculum construction cases and operating systems to enhance the educational performance of extracurricular activities, and to examine the relationship between the performance of extracurricular activities and related variables. For this purpose, based on the data of extracurricular activities of 8,016 sample college students, I analyzed the difference in performance of extracurricular activities according to major, grade, gender, admission type, double major, and grade(GPA). The results of the study showed a significant difference in the performance of the extracurricular activities according to the individual variables of the students. Arts and physical education major, third grade, female, occasional admission students, double major students, and high GPA students showed higher extracurricular performance than the other groups. Therefore, it is necessary to plan the extracurricular activities according to the characteristics of the students, and to develop the programs linking the classes and the extracurricular activities, and to make efforts at the university level to support the outcomes of the extracurricular activities.
