국문 초록

인간에게 배움은 생존을 위한 도구일 뿐 아니라 진정한 인간되기의 중요한 여정이다. 특히 학교를 통해 경험하는 배움의 내용과 방법은 개인의 일생을 넘어 국가와 사회전체에 막대한 영향을 미치는 중요한 행위라는 점에서 수많은 교육담론의 의제가 되어 왔으나, 배움기호론에 기반한 논의는 여전히 부족한 편이다. 본 연구는 기호를 배움의 핵심으로 보는 들뢰즈의 생성 철학적 의견에 비추어 학교교육에서 배움이 무엇인지를 비평적으로 탐구해 보고자하며, 특히 인간의 경험, 기억, 시간과 진리 찾기의 여정을 통해 배움의 의미를 기호론의 관점에서 분석한 들뢰즈의「프루스트와 기호들」에 나타나는 배움기호의 유형에 의해 진정한 배움의 의미를 한차원 심화시켜 논의해 보고자 한다. 궁극적으로 들뢰즈의 배움이론에 비추어 볼 때 학교는 전 제된 진리를 재현하는 동일시 교육을 넘어서서 개인이 스스로 풍요로운 기호에 감응하고 해석할 수 있도록 주체의 내적역량을 지원할 필요가 있으며, 이를 통해 개인 스스로가 풍부한 감응 능력과 사유하기를 통하여 진정한 배움 찾기와 인간되기의 여정에 들어설 수 있도록 안내하는 학교교육에 대하여 고민해 보고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to search of true meaning of ‘learning’ in school system based on Deleuze’s sign-learning theory which is suggested in the book of「Proust et les signes」. Deleuze criticizes the limitations and even dangers of learning in current school system, which more likely educates the learner not to think by simply repeat the correct answer and representation of sign. His learning philosophy suggests the school should provides the various ways of provoke true learning that help one engage in her own thinking. In Proust’s book, Deleuze analyzes four types of sign of learning, that are sign of social skill, sign of love, sign of sense and sign of art. In this way, he suggests the school needs to overcome to educate students the signs with poor meaning that are nothing but empty, but try to more involve the richness of sign that is truly help the students engage to recall her past of time and wailingly to search for the truth of meaning in the loosed time. This study finally tried to discuss how to school reconstruct curriculum to help learners to develop her sense of capacity by encountering with rich sign, and then naturally provokes her thinking that is only path way to reach the true learning.
