국문 초록

본 연구는 유아의 공감능력과 학습관련 사회적 기술 및 사회적 의사소통능력 간에 상관관계 및 공감능력에 대한 학습관련 사회적 기술 하위영역과 사회적 의사소통 능력 하위영역이 갖는 상대적 영향력을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 4·5세 남녀 유아 207명이었으며, 자료 분석은 상관분석과 다변량회귀분석으로 하였다. 연구결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 공감능력과 학습 관련 사회적 기술 및 사회적 의사소통능력은 통계적으로 의미 있는 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 공감능력과 가장 높은 상관관계가 나타난 것은 학습관련 사회적 기술 중에서 숙달이었으며, 사회적 의사소통능력에서는 말 순서 갖기가 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 인지적, 정서적 공감능력에 긍정적 영향력을 주는 학습관련 사회적 기술은 숙달, 순응, 자기주장 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 인지적 공감능력에 긍정적 영향력을 주는 사회적 의사소통능력은 또래 바라보며 말하기이며, 정서적 공감능력에는 말 걸기로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to investigate correlation between young children empathic ability and learning related social skills & social communication ability. Another purpose is to investigate relative influences of learning related social skills sub categories and social communication skills sub categories regarding empathic ability. The subjects were 207 young children which include both gender 4 years and 5 years olds, pearson s correlation and multiple analysis were applied to the data analysis. The result are as follows. firstly, there are statistically significant positive correlation between young children empathic ability and learning related social skills. secondly, proficiency is the most statistically correlated with empathic ability in learning related social skills. thirdly, turn taking is the most correlated in relationship between empathic ability and social communication ability. fourthly, learning related social skills which has positive influence on empathic ability are proficiency, adaptability and assertion, whereas social communication ability which has positive influence on empathic ability are speaking to peer, response and nonverbal behaviour promoting communication.
