학년차원의 긍정적 행동지원에 참여한 교사 및 부모의 경험과 인식에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 학년차원의 긍정적 행동지원의 보편적 지원(1차 예방), 표적집단 지원(2차 예방), 개별 지원(3차 예방)을 실행하는 과정에 참여한 교사 및 부모의 경험과 인식을 고찰하고자 실시되었다. 본 연구의 참여자는 서울시 소재 G초등학교에서 초등학교 3학년을 대상으로 실시한 학년차원의 긍정적 행동 지원의 1, 2차 및 3차 예방에 참여한 4명의 교사(담임교사 2명, 특수교사 2명)와 2명의 부모로, 총 6명이 다. 이들을 대상으로 개별 및 소집단면담을 실시하였고, 모든 면담은 전사한 후 연속적 비교법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 질적 분석 결과, 시작, 과정, 성과평가, 개선방안의 4가지 대주제와 12가지의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 논의에서는 주제들 간의 유기적 관계 및 시사점을 논의하고, 연구의 제한점을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 학년차원의 긍정적 행동지원의 중요성에 대한 인식이 확대되고 있는 시점에서 1, 2, 3차 예방을 모두 실행한 학교를 대상으로 다양한 참여자들의 경험과 인식을 심층적으로 고찰함으로써, 향후 학년 차원의 긍정적 행동지원 관련 연구과 정책이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시했다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to investigate the experiences and perceptions of teachers and parents who participated in the project which executed universal support (tier 1 prevention), targeted intervention(tier 2 prevention) and individualized support (tier 3 prevention) in accordance with the multitiered prevention model of School-Wide Positive Behavior Support (SWPBS). The participants was 6 persons all together-4 teachers and 2 parents who participated in the tier 1 prevention, tier 2 prevention and tier 3 prevention of SWPBS proceeded with 3rd graders at G Elementary School in Seoul. Individual interviews and group interviews were conducted with all participants and all interviews were transcribed verbatim. The transcripts were coded and analyzed using the constant comparative method. From the analysis, four main themes; beginning, process, result evaluation and improvement plan, and 12 sub themes were identified. In discussion, the organic relations between themes and the implications of the results were discussed and the limitations of the study were presented. At this time the importance of SWPBS has been being increased, this study contributed to the field in that it suggested the directions for future research and policy through investigating the perceptions and experiences of those who were involved in all the process of primary, secondary and tertiary intervention.
