장애대학생들과의 e- 멘토링이 장애고등학생들의 진로결정 자기효능감 및대학 진학 준비에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애대학생들과의 e-멘토링 프로그램이 장애고등학생들의 진로결정 자기효능감과 대학 진학 준비에 미치는 영향을 조사하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 위하여 서울 및 경기지역에 재학 중인 16명의 멘티 장애고등학생들과 16명의 멘토 장애대학생들을 장애영역과 전공으로 매칭한 후 8회기 대학 진학 준비 e-멘토링 프로그램, 1회 오프라인 멘토교육, 그리고 1회 온라인 중간간담회를 제공하였다. 선정된 멘티 장애고등학생들에게 e-멘토링 프로그램 시작 전과 종료 후 동일한 설문지를 이용하여 사전검사 및 사후검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과에 따르면, 연구에 참여한 장애고등학생들의 진로결정 자기효능 감은 대학 진학 준비 e-멘토링 프로그램 실시한 이후에 훨씬 높아졌다. 또한 진로결정 자기효능감 하위 영역인 목표선택, 직업정보, 문제해결, 미래계획도 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 멘티 장애고 등학생들과 멘토 장애대학생들의 인터뷰 결과, 대학 진학 준비 e-멘토링 프로그램이 대학 진학 준비에 미치는 영향으로는 대학 및 전공에 대한 이해의 폭 증가, 대학 진학/입시 준비 과정의 이해의 폭 증가, 학업/공부에 대한 열의 및 자신감 증가였다. 끝으로 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study is designed to investigate the influence of e-mentoring program with college students with disabilities on career decision self-efficacy and college preparation for high school students with disabilities in order to move successfully into postsecondary education. To achieve the purposes of the study, the researchers recruited 16 high school students with disabilities and 16 college students with disabilities in the provinces of Seoul and Kyeonggi-do and then matched them based on the types of disability and university majors. The mentee participants received eight sessions of e-mentoring program for college preparation and online orientation while the mentors went through one offline mentor training, the e-mentoring program, and online midterm discussion meeting. The paired samples t-test results of the study indicated that the mentees’ career decision self-efficacy was statistically improved after the e-mentoring program. Also, the three themes were derived from the qualitative data analyses, including better understanding of colleges and majors that they were interested in, broadened knowledge about the college admission procedures and tests, and improved passions for study. The implications was discussed based on the results of the study.
