국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초등학교 저학년 경계선 지능 아동의 보조사 전제 이해 특성을 알아보기 위해 보조 사(은/는, 만, 도)의 전제 이해 능력과 오류유형을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 저학년 경계선 지능 아동 12명, 일반 아동 12명을 대상으로 보조사 실험 문장 21개를 읽고 답을 고르도록 하였다. 연구 결과로 첫째, 경계선 지능 아동이 일반 아동에 비해 낮은 보조사 전제 이해 능력을 보였다. 둘째, 두 집단 모두 ‘은/는’, ‘만’, ‘도’ 순으로 많은 오류를 보였으며 ‘은/는’에서 내용어 오류, ‘만’에서 조사오류를 주로 보였으나, ‘도’에서 경계선 지능 아동은 ‘내용어 오류’를, 일반 아동은 ‘조사 오류’를 주로 보였다. 이러한 결과는 경계선 지능 아동들이 학령기까지 보조사 전제를 이해하는 데 어려움이 있어 보조사의 완전한 습득에 이르지 못함을 보여준다. 또한 이들에게 보조사 지도 시 오류 유형에 따라 지도 초점을 달리 하고 보조사에 따른 메타언어적 접근이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the presupposition comprehension ability of auxiliary particles(eun/nun, man, do) and error types in order to examine presupposition comprehension characteristics of auxiliary particles of lower grades with borderline intelligence in elementary school. For this study, 12 lower grades with borderline intelligence in elementary school and 12 general children chose the answers after reading the 21 auxiliary particles test sentences. The results of this study are as follows. First, the children with borderline intelligence showed a lower level understanding about presupposition comprehension of auxiliary particles. Second, both groups showed high errors in the order of ‘eun/nun’, ‘man’, ‘do’ and showed content word error in eun/nun, particle error in ‘man’ mainly but the children with borderline intelligence showed content word error and general children showed particle error in ‘do’ mainly. This result suggests that the children with borderline intelligence do not reach complete acquisition of auxiliary particles due to difficulty in presupposition comprehension of auxiliary particles until school ages. In addition, the focus of guidance should be determined according to the type of error and metalinguistic approach according to the type of auxiliary particles is needed for the borderline intelligence children.
