국문 초록

본 연구는 직업가치가 사회복지 진로결정 수준에 미치는 영향에서의 성별 차이를 분석하였다. 층화집락표집 방법을 통해 추출한 전국의 사회복지학과 4학년 1,211명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였고 다중집단 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 남녀 집단 모두에서 외재적 직업가치와 이타적 직업가치가 사회복지 진로결정 수준에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 외재적 직업가치는 부적 영향을, 이타적 직업가치는 정적 영향을 나타내었다. 반면, 내재적 직업가치는 남녀 집단 모두에서 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 관계지향적 직업가치와 위생적 직업가치는 여학생 집단에서만 사회복지 진로결정 수준에 유의한 영향을 미쳤는데, 관계지향적 직업가치는 정적 영향을, 위생적 직업가치는 부적 영향을 나타내었다. 관계지향적 직업가치가 사회복지 진로결정 수준에 미치는 영향에서는 성별 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 이론적 함의와 실천적 함의를 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The present study analysed the gender differences in the effects of work values on social work career decision. The study sample, selected through stratified cluster sampling method, included 1,211 students who were seniors in college nationwide majoring in social work. Multi-group Structural Equation Modeling were used. The results of the study indicated that, both in male and female groups, external work value and altruistic work value significantly affected their social work career decision; social work career decision was affected negatively by external work value and affected positively by altruistic work value. On the other hand, intrinsic work value did not show significant effect on social work career decision neither in male nor in female groups. The relation-oriented work value and hygiene work value significantly affected on social work career decision only in female group; the relation-oriented work value showed a significant positive effect while hygiene work values showed a significant negative effect on social work career decision in female group. There was a significant gender difference in the effects of relation-oriented work value on social work career decision. Based on these results, theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
