국문 초록

본 연구는 한국의 다문화 교육이 포스트모더니즘이 지향하고 있는 소수와 다수의 문화 계층에 대한 접근법과 상반되는 입장을 취하고 있으며 다문화 학생들의 통합, 동화에 초점을 맞추었다는 비판적인 시각을 바탕으로 새로운 다문화 교육의 가능성을 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 학교현장에서 이루어지고 있는 다문화 교육 정책과 다문화 교육 사업을 포스트모더니즘 철학에 근거하여 살펴보고 다문화 교육의 정책을 모색해보았다. 다문화 교육은 동화위주의 다문화정책에서 다양성의 인정, 보장, 존중, 장려하는 융화정책으로 전환되어야 하며 일반 학생의 다문화 이해 교육을 통한 다양성이 존중되는 학교문화를 조성해야 한다. 교원양성 대학교육단계에서 다문화 교육전문 교육을 이수 학점 등의 제도로 시행하고 다문 화 학생 교육을 위한 관․학․시민사회 등의 거버넌스 네트워크 구축을 토대로 사회적으로 다문화 우호적 교육 환경을 조성해야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was the re-concept of multicultural education in the view of post-modernism, based on a critical perspective, taking a position contrary to the approach for a number of cultural hierarchy multicultural education in Korea, and a few who are oriented this post-modernism, and had adjusted the integration of multicultural students and focus on fairytale. It was carried out in order to search for possible. Multicultural education policy and multicultural education affair being made in school, based on the philosophy of postmodernism looked sought a policy of multicultural education. Multicultural education should be switched to the recognition of diversity, guarantees, respect and harmony to promote policies. By the general students of multicultural education should foster a school culture where diversity is respected. In teacher training colleges should be implemented into multicultural education professional training institutions, such as credits. In a society based governance network for multicultural education students should promote favorable multicultural environment.
