초등 실과 5학년 ‘생활과 기술’ 단원의 동기유발 요소 분석 및 동기유발 자료 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 실과교과서 발명단원의 동기유발 요소를 분석하고 문학작품을 활용한 동기유발 자료를 개발하는데 있다. 이 연구를 위해서 본 연구는 Keller의 ARCS모형과 선행연구를 바탕으로 분석틀을 제작하여 2009개정교육과정에 의해 발행된 초등학교 5학년 실과 교과서 6종의 ‘생활과 기술’ 단원에서 동기유발 요소들을 얼마나 많이 사용하고 있는지 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 부족한 동기유발 요소를 보완할 수 있는 자료를 문학작품에서 찾아내어 수업에 활용할 수 있도록 동기유발 자료를 개발하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 6종 교과서 발명단원의 동기유발 요소를 분석한 결과 비상교육, 교학사, 천재교과서, 미래엔, 동아출판, 천재교육 순으로 ARCS모형에 따른 동기유발 요소를 많이 제시하였다. 또한 6종 교과서 모두 주의집중요소(A)의 사용 비율이 관련성 요소(R)의 사용 비율보다 높았으며, 하위 요소의 사용 비율을 보면 모든 교과서에서 변화성(A3)의 사용 비율이 가장 낮았으며, 모티브 일치(R2), 탐구적 각성(A2) 순으로 낮은 비율을 형성했다. 둘째, 보완이 필요한 세 가지 하위요소(A2, A3, R2)를 중심으로 동기유발 자료를 문학작품을 활용하여 개발하였다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 앞으로 개발되는 교과서에는 동기유발 요소가 균형 있게 반영되어 다양한 동기유발 전략을 활용할 수 있도록 해야 하며, 지속적으로 동기유발 자료가 개발되어 학생들이 발명에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 가질 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop motivational program materials by analyzing motivation factors in the life and technology unit of the elementary practical arts 5th grade textbook and by using literature. This study s analytical framework is based on Keller s ARCS model and previous studies. Using those factors, this study analyzed whether and how much motivational factors are used in elementary school practical arts textbooks in the invention sections of the six textbooks listed below, and in accordance with the 2009 revised national curriculum. Based on the results of this analysis, motivational materials for learners are developed and supplements are used from motivational factors found in literature. The results of this study were as follows: First, as a result of the analysis on the section of invention, in the following six textbooks, motivation factors in Bisang Education, Kyohak, Chunjae textbook, Miraeyen, Donga publishing, Chunjae Education were presented from most to least / from least to most in this order. And it is suggested that the rate of attention factors outweighs that of relevance factors. According to the rate of supplements, all textbooks have the lowest rates of change factors, consistent motif, exploratory arousal research and in this same order. Second, motivational materials developed using the literature around the three supplements in need. Based on this study, textbooks published in the future should reflect a balance of motivational factors and present a variety of motivational strategies. Through such developments a variety of motivational materials would be abailable, and students would be encouraged to have a positive attitude about invention, continuously.
