영문 초록

This study aims to identify a plan for the sustainable growth of a social enterprise and discuss improvements in future policies. Communication structure, competitive strategy, supporting features are set as performance-influencing factors and their effect on the sustainability of social enterprises will be examined. A survey was conducted at 1,165 places that were confirmed by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, as of September 2014. In total, 270 answers were collected and 256 were empirically analyzed to obtain the following results. The decision-making structure was found to be statistically significant, while the management of the labor-management council had a negative effect on economic performance, and official procedures of committee had a negative effect on social performance. Competitive strategy was statistically significant and creativity had a negative effect on economic performance, whereas product service competitiveness had a positive effect on sustainability. Among supporting features, financial support was statistically significant and labor cost had a negative effect on sustainability, whereas social insurance fee had a negative effect on sustainability. Supporting features, besides financial support, were statistically significant and management consulting had a positive effect on sustainability, whereas suggestion for public institution’s priority purchase had a negative effect on sustainability.
