영문 초록

This analysis focuses on the efficiency assessment of regional livestock cooperatives in Korea. To do this, using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA), we examine the technical efficiency of the regional cooperatives by locational types and find the inefficient factors. Results suggest that inefficiency of regional livestock cooperatives comes from pure technical inefficiency rather than scale inefficiency. By locational types, the rural-located and mountain-side cooperatives show more efficient than the urban-located.
