설득 관련 용어의 교육적 재개념화와 교육 내용 체계화 방안

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 논증 요소를 중심으로 설득 관련 용어를 교육적 관점에서 재개념화하고 이에 대한 교육 내용을 체계화하는 방안을 마련하는 것이다. 이를 위해 기존 국어과 교육과정에서 사용한 설득 관련 용어의 혼란 양상을 ‘주장’ 관련 용어와 ‘근거’ 관련 용어로 구분하여 비판적으로 분석하였다. 그 다음 선행 연구의 관련 논의를 참고하고 교육적 관점을 적용하여 해당 용어의 개념과 요건을 설명하고, 용어 간의 논리적 관계를 규명하였다. 연구의 결과로 기존 국어과 교육과정의 ‘주장’과 ‘근거’의 이원 체계의 단점을 보완하기 위해 ‘주장, 이유, 근거’의 삼원 체계로 전환할 것을 주장하였다. 특히 ‘이유’와 ‘근거’의 성격을 분명하게 구분하고 ‘이유’와 ‘전제’에 대한 내적 논리를 확인하였다. 설득 교육 내용을 체계화하기 위해 지식, 기능, 태도의 틀로 구분하여 세부적인 교육 내용의 요소와 예시를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose of this study is to re-conceptualize persuasion-related terms from the viewpoint of argumentation elements and to prepare systematization method of the education contents. To this end, this study classified persuasion-related terms which were confusingly used in existing Korean language curriculum into ‘claim’-related terms and ‘evidence’-related terms in order to conduct a critical analysis. Next, this study referred to relevant discussions in advanced researches, explained concept and requirements of the terms by applying educational perspective and then, it investigated logical relation between terms. As a result of the research, this study asserted conversion to ternary system of ‘claim, reason and evidence’ in order to supplement shortcomings of dual system of ‘claim’ and ‘evidence’ in existing Korean language curriculum. In particular, it clearly identified nature of ‘reason’ and ‘evidence’ to confirm internal logic of ‘reason’ and ‘presupposition’. It classified persuasion-related education contents into knowledge, skill and attitude frames in order to systemize persuasion-related education contents and then, it suggested elements and examples of detailed education contents.
