진도씻김굿 소재 콘텐츠 현황 및 제작에 관한 제언

국문 초록

진도씻김굿 은 이승에서 풀지 못한 죽은 사람의 원한을 풀어주고, 저승 세계로 갈 수 있도록 기원하는 진도지역의 굿이다. 진도씻김굿 은 제의적인 의식을 떠나서, 예술작품으로서의 가치와 교훈을 주는 교육적인 의미를 가진 문화자원이기도 하다. 본 연구는 진도씻김굿 을 바탕으로 만들어지고 발표된 온·오프라인의 콘텐츠물현황을 살펴보고, 나아가 진도씻김굿 을 토대로 확장되고 다양화 된 형태의 콘텐츠물이 만들어지는 것에 대한 방안을 제시해 보았다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진도씻김굿 을 소재로 한 스토리텔링 기법을 다양한 콘텐츠에 사용하되, 단순한 극적인 변화차원이 아닌, 장르와 한계를 넘어설 수 있는 다국적 스토리텔링 기법이 활용되어야 한다. 둘째, 진도씻김굿 에 등장하는 신화적인 요소를 활용하여, 아이들을 대상으로 한 동화 같은 콘텐츠 제작이 활성화 되어야 한다. 셋째, 단순한 감상만이 아닌 치유음악으로서의 가치를 높일 수 있는 문화상품을 개발하여야 한다. 넷째, 한국의 일반적 장례문화와는 다른 섬 지역만의 독특한 장례의 문화화(文化化)를 선도하는 작업이 필요하다. 다섯째, 진도씻김굿 의 명인들을 주제로 한 다큐멘터리 영화를 기획·제작하고, 콘텐츠로 만들어 글로벌 시대에 맞는 다국적 작품으로 연계 및 기획되어야 한다. 우수한 전통문화인 진도씻김굿 은 다각적 접근을 통해 현대인들이 직접 접해볼 뿐만 아니라 간접적으로 자신의 삶과 죽음을 투영해 봄으로써 치유의 과정을 거칠 수 있다. 이를 통해 진도씻김굿은 무한한 가능성이 있는 우수한 문화 콘텐츠로 자리매김할 것이다.

영문 초록

Jindo Ssitgim-gut is a shaman ritual from Jindo performed to relieve the resentments of the dead in a wish that the dead could leave for the other world in peace. Apart from being a religious ritual, Jindo Ssitgim-gut is also a work of art that is moral and valuable cultural heritage. In this paper, I have examined various on-line and off-line contents based on Jindo Ssitgimgut and made some suggestions for expanding and diversifying the forms of contents that are produced on the basis of Jindo Ssitgim-gut. The results are as follows: First, I suggest utilizing multinational approach to overcome its limitation and genres, while applying story-telling method based on Jindo Ssitgimgut to various genres of contents. Second, it should be vitalized to produce contents for children such as a fairy tale by utilizing the mythical elements of Jindo Ssitgim-gut. Third, it is necessary to develop a cultural production that can enhance its value to be music for healing, not just for appreciating. Fourth, it is necessary to lead the enculturation of the unique funeral rites of islands that are different from funeral rites of Korea in general. Fifth, it is necessary to plan and film a documentary on masters of Jindo Ssitgimgut, to provide multinational contents that are in tune with Global Era. By applying a multilateral approach, Jindo Ssitgim-gut can be turned into a cultural production through which one can reflect his or her life and death and go through a healing process directly and indirectly. Therefore, Jindo Ssitgim-gut will be positioned as excellent cultural contents with infinite potentials.
