아동 풍경구성법에 나타난 색채 심리 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 풍경구성법(Landscape Montage Technique: LMT)에 의해 아동이 표현한 그림 속에서의 색채지표인 5가지 항목에 대한 심리적인 상태를 연구함으로써 아동을 올바르게 이해하고 바람직한 정서함양을 이루도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 동시에 아동의 색채와 풍경구성법에 의한 소재와의 연구가 보다 활성화 할 수 있도록 하는데 그 의의가 있다. 제1장은 논문의 연구배경과 목적, 아동들의 색채심리 상태의 중요성을 규명하고 있으며, 제2.3장에서는 아동화의 발달단계, 아동색채심리.인지, 풍경구성법의 개념과 방법, 상징과 의미 등에 대해 학문적으로 고찰해 봄으로써 본 본문의 이론적 의미를 더하였다. 제4장은 풍경구성법에 의해 서울 및 경기도 3곳의 미술학원생 총 130명의 유아와 초등생을 대상으로 풍경구성법 10가지 항목 및 5가지 색채지표(항목에 따른 색의 수, 항목채색의 적절성, 혼색, 색채의 혼합, 정성)를 이용하여 아동그림에서의 실제적인 분석을 제시한 바, 제5장 결론에서 연구자는 풍경구성법을 통한 아동의 색채 심리는 첫째, 색채 사용량은 아동의 정서적인 부분과 관련이 있으며, 둘째, 충동적인 아동은 색채에 강한 흥미를 가지는 반면, 자기 방어적이고 이성적인 아동은 10개 항목의 형태에 주로 관심을 가지는 경향으로 구분되었고, 셋째, 풍경구성법 10개 항목의 형태적 의미와 색채와의 관계는 서로 연계성을 가지고 있어 그 해석 또한 전체적인 연계에 따른 아동들의 심리적 분석이 가능하다는 유의미한 결론에 이르게 되었으며, 넷째, 풍경구성법에서의 그림의 짜임새는 아동의 그림의 크기와 화면의 배치에 따라 다르지만 실제로는 처음 이야기한 것과 나중에 이야기한 항목에 따라 차이가 있음을 시사해 주었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine how to understand and analyze the psychological state and emotion of preschoolers and children based on their favorite colors and by applying the landscape montage technique in conjunction with the theories of many researchers. After the selected children s color psychology was compared by applying the landscape montage technique, the following findings were given: To what extent the children made use of colors in their landscape montage technique was related to their emotion. Although they continued to use their favorite color all the time, they showed a lot of interest in particular colors depending on their mood, and those who were self-defensive and rational had a tendency to be interested in the 10 items. The formative meaning of the 10 items of the landscape montage technique had something to do with color, and it seemed possible to analyze their psychology based on the overall relationship of the 10 items. If parents and art teachers closely observe what colors children use in order to grasp their psychology and try to make up for their shortcoming based on the findings of existing studies, that will make it provide children with the best education. A color has a heavy impact on growing children s sensitivity, and children s feelings toward colors are variable. So there will be a ceaseless change in their feelings toward colors. Hands-on and authentic color education should be provided for children in accordance with their color development stages so that they could be taught to enrich their emotion in a positive way. Thus, they should be helped to attain a positive and sound growth by looking into their color psychology. This study is expected to be of use for the understanding of children s color psychology to step up their sound growth and development.
