경도정신지체 아동의 부적응 행동 변화에 대한 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 경도정신지체 아동의 부적응 행동에 미술치료를 실시하여 그 효과를 규명함으로써 아동의 문제 해결에 도움을 주고자 하는 것에 연구의 의의를 두었다. 본 연구의 대상은 소아정신과에서 경도 정신지체로 진단되었으며 부적응 행동을 수반한 6세 A여자아동으로 2002년 9월부터 2003년 1월 까지 주 1회 약 45분, 총 14회기 실시하였다. 측정도구는 Yale 아동 행동평가척도에서 3문항, K-CBCL 아동·청소년 행동 평가척도에서 7문항을 발췌하였고, 부모관찰에 의한 아동의 부적응 행동에 대하여 프로그램을 실시하기 전 사전 검사를 하였으며, 14회기를 마친 후 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, Yale 아동 행동 평가척도상의 부적응 행동 변화에 효과가 있었다. 둘째, K-CBCL 아동·청소년 행동 평가척도상의 부적응 행동 변화에 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 부모관찰에 의한 아동의 부적응 행동 변화에 효과가 있었다. 이상의 결과를 볼 때 미술치료가 경도정신지체 아동의 부적응 행동 변화에 효과가 있었다.

영문 초록

This research tries to help solving problems of children with mild mental retardation by practicing art therapy and examining its effects on their behavioral maladjustment. An object of this study is 6 year old female diagnosed as mild mental retardation accompanying behavioral maladjustment. The survey carried out from September 2002 to January 2003, once a week, totaling 14 times. The measuring tool consists of 3 questions from Yale Children s Inventory and 7 questions from K-CBCL. Examination on behavioral maladjustment of the child conducted before the therapy and after finishing 14 times of therapy by parents observation. The results from the study are as follows. First, the therapy had positive effects on behavioral maladjustment evaluated by Yale Children s Inventory. Second, the therapy had positive effects on behavioral maladjustment evaluated by K-CBCL. Third, the therapy had positive effects on behavioral maladjustment evaluated by parents observation. Accordingly art therapy has positive effects on behavioral maladjustment of children with mild mental retardation.
