국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 한식 외식산업에서 종사자의 직무만족과 서비스지향성에 관리자의 권한위임이 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 선행 연구에 근거하며, 권한위임 요인중 어떠한 요인이 직무만족과 서비스지향성에 작용하는지, 또한 직무만족과 서비스지향성과의 관계에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구모형을 검증하기 위해 서울 시내에 위치한 한식 외식산업에 근무하는 158명의 직원을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 한식 외식산업에서 관리자의 권한위임요인중 전문성 신장과 자율성2개의 변수가 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 전문성 신장과 영향력 2개의 변수가 서비스 지향성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 직무만족과 서비스 지향성의 관계에서는 직무만족요인 하나만이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 관리자들은 종사자들에게 적절한 자율성과 전문성 신장을 위한 방법을 고민하고 연구해야 하며, 종사자의 직무만족이 곧 한식 외식산업 을 성공시키는 지름길이라는 결과를 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This study has been conducted to find the effect of authority delegation on job satisfaction and service orientation of workers in the Korean food service industry. Based on previous literature, the researcher examined which factors of authority delegation affects job satisfaction and service orientation as well as the correlation between job satisfaction and service orientation. For verification of the study model, 158 workers in the Korean Food service industry located in downtown Seoul were surveyed. From the researched factors, the 2 factors that were shown to influence job satisfaction were professional development and autonomy. The 2 factors that had influence on service orientation were professional development and leverage. Research results for the correlation between job satisfaction and service orientation showed that only the job satisfaction factor was influential. Therefore, administrators need to seek ways for their workers to gain autonomy and increase professionalism. The study also points out the positive correlation between the worker’s job satisfaction and the success of Korean food service industry.
