외식프랜차이즈 환경요인이 가맹점주의 의존성, 자율성 및 갈등, 관계만족에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 가맹점주의 의존성, 자율성과 갈등, 관계만족의 관계 및 의존성과 자율성을 형성하는 프랜차이즈 환경요인[지원, 경쟁, 대안의 존재]을 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 실증 분석을 위하여 50개 이상의 가맹점을 보유한 본사의 서울 소재 가맹점 중 가맹한지 6개월 이상 경과한 가맹점을 표본 프레임으로 설정하여 설문지 320부를 배포, 이중 232부를 분석에 활용하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 의존성은 갈등의 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 자율성은 갈등에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘 째, 자율성은 갈등에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 프랜차이즈 환경요인 중 의존성을 불러오는 변수는 지원으로 나타났으며, 자율성을 불러오는 변수는 대안의 존재로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to examine the causal relationship between franchisee’s dependence, autonomy and the variables of performance in franchise business; conflict, relational satisfaction. This study also presented and examined internal & external environment [support, competition, alternative] which is expected to shape franchisee’s dependence and autonomy. Among franchisors in Seoul metropolitan area, the sample frame was set up with the case that the contract period is over 6 months and which has over 50 stores. As a result of survey by convenient sampling, 232 questionnaires were returned among the total of 320 distributed questionnaires. Excluding invalid cases and outliers, 212 samples were analyzed as follows. First, dependence had a positive effect on conflict and autonomy had a negative effect on conflict. Second, dependence had a positive effect on relational satisfaction and autonomy did not have an effect on relational satisfaction significantly. Third, support had a significant effect on dependence and alternative had a significant effect on autonomy among environmental factors.
