영문 초록

This study aims to find a solution for the vitalization of the community deve10pment and resident’s participation based on the vo1untary participation and cooperation and their needs through the survey on the rea1ity of resident' s participation in community deve10pment project in the era of 10cal autonomy. To vitalize resident‘s participation in community deve10pment in the future, 1 suggested some solutions as follows. Above al1, resident’s participation shou1d be motivated positive1y, and their participation shou1d be guaranteed practical1y from the stage of se1ection of deve10pment project and the estab1ishment of p1ans. As far as 10cal deve10pment project, government-initiative system shou1d be changed into residents-initiative system. In addition, as the method of resident’s participation, ‘positive participation' through resident' s organizations or civi1 organs is desirab1e as well as through intemet.
