영문 초록

This study has been carried out to investigate the necessity to form the Korean community of civilization and its tasks in terms of Korean land development, assuming that it is impossible to improve the national states of Korea in the new era without far-seeing vision. It should be the best way for the survival and prosperity of Korea to form the Korean community of civilization in the 21st century. There are two kinds of approaches; The one is based on the national living sphere and the other is on the national economic cooperation sphere. Concerning with national land development the later approach should be more appropriate. Following are suggested; 1) A new paradigm; to construct healthy land. 2) Preparation for reunification; to unify the South and North Korea. 3) Opening our national land; to function as the gate to North-East Asia. 4) Conserving our national ecology. 5) Preserving our cultural heritages. In conclusion, forming the Korean community of civilization should be the goal of Korean land development planning and the mission of the Koreans in the process of civilization.
