영문 초록

Sine 1957, the Korean national account system has been changed eight times until today. In recent, although 1993 SNA was announced with v따ious supplementations, the system can not reflect current knowledge-based economy. The purpose of this study is to propose a framework of national account system under knowledge-based economy with the importance of intellectual capital. The study particularly focuses on the analysis of four types of national intellectual capital, i.e., (i) national renewal and development capital, (ii) national human capital, (iii) national process capital, and Gv) national market capital. The study suggests two schemes. Firstly, knowledge-based industries should be adequately classified to reflect knowledge-based economy. Secondly, the national account system should be improved to reflect the importance of intellectual capital such as R&D expenditures, information technology, software, and e-business.
