영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to examine the regional economic policies of Korean govemment critically and analyse the problems. The present Korean govemment has been trying to accomplish two goals, national economic growth and regional balanced development with new regionalistic industrial policies. But the outcome of the policies is not still satisfied and the criticism for the policies has increased. According to the results of this research. these problems are caused from the theoretical confusion and the policy mistakes in the process of applying the model to policy‘ Especially, the policy mixing of the industrial cluster theory and regional innovation system is regarded one of the most important factors to have made such a failure of policy.
