영문 초록

The aim of this paper is to present a vison of advanced Taejon city for the year 2000 and to suggest some ideas to get there. Since Taejon is located at the center of this country, she functions as central city of mid-Korea in terms of administration, education, science and culture. However Taejon has been developed by national policies and regional economic base of this area is not good because of weak manufacturing industry. Man power of Daeduck Research Park should be used and manufacturing industry should be enlarged and strengthened for the urban development of Taejon city.
