영문 초록

This paper aims at analyzing the characteristics of spatial disribution owing to policy-making of administrative organization in Korea. For the study, the content analysis and the data on the characteristics of spatiai distribution during, last twenty-five years were used. And the items used for the analyses are as follows; level of administrative organization, type of decision-making, and characteristics of spatial distribution(such as concentration, deconcentration, and decentralized concentration vs. point, line, and area). The results of the study indicate the (1) The power of national organizations was dominant in the national spatial policy making. (2) Efficiency was the most dominant value criteria in the national spatial policy. (3) The pattern of development was top-down, so the benefits of investment were spatially inequitable. (4) The characteristic of spatial policy was resource oriented.
