교과서 현대소설 제재의 교육내용 연구

국문 초록

이 논문의 취지는 2009 개정 국어과 교육과정에 의해 만들어진 국어 교과서에서 현대소설 교육이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는가의 현황을 분석하고, 교과서 현대소설 교육의 바람직한 방향을 모색하려는 데 있다. 이를 위해 현행 중학교 국어 교과서 ‘문학’ 영역 소단원을 중심으로 제재에 따른 학습활동이 가진 문제점이 무엇인가를 살펴보았다. 문학작품 중심의 분석적인 접근과 지나칠 만큼 상세한 안내, 소통적 활동의 성격이 모호한 점을 고찰하였고, 이러한 현상은 궁극적으로 학습자의 능동적 개입을 제한할 수 있어 문제가 됨을 지적하였다. 교과서 현대소설의 교육 내용으로 학습활동이 통합적으로 제시되어 활동 간의 연속성이나 계열성을 갖도록 해야 한다는 점, 학습활동이 학습자의 주체적인 학습 능력을 기르도록 구성되어야 한다는 점, 표현교육의 외연을 확대하여 학습자가 자신의 느낌이나 생각을 표현하는 기회를 제공해야 한다는 점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the current status of the modern novel education related to the subject of national language produced by national language curriculum revised in 2009 and to look into a desirous direction of the modern novel education contained in the textbook. So, this dissertation looked into the problems in learning activity basing on materials, centering on small unit in 'literature' area contained in middle school national language textbook used in middle school now. This dissertation looked into analytical approach, centering on literature works, excessively detailed guidelines, and obscure communicative activity. This dissertation pointed out that the phenomena may bring about problems because they may restrict active activity of learners eventually. As educational contents, this dissertation presented that learning activity has to be presented comprehensively to secure continuity and sequence among activities, that the textbooks have to be constructed so that learners can enhance the subjective learning ability, and that the extension denotation of expressional education has to be expanded to offer the chances to express feelings or thoughts.
