국문 초록

최근 금융(finance)과 기술(technology)의 합성어인 핀테크(fintech)가 관련 업계에서 주요 관심사로 떠오르고 있다. 글로벌 ICT 기업들은 새로운 수익 실현기회를 확대 하고 있으며 글로벌 핀테크 산업이 고속성장을 하고 있으나 국내의 경우 높은 진입장벽 등으로 핀테크 산업의 본격적인 도입은 사실상 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 우리나라가 보유하고 있는 높은 수준의 ICT 역량을 기반으로 새로운 성장 동력으로 떠오르고 있는 핀테크 산업을 적극 육성하고 국제경쟁력을 키워야 할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본고에서는 국내 핀테크 산업 활성화를 위한 제언을 하였다. 첫째, 포지티브규제에서 네거티브 규제로의 전환, 둘째, 정보의 보안성과 시스템의 안정성 확보, 셋째, 법령개정 등 규제완화, 넷째, 국가지원 및 대형 금융회사의 협력증진, 다섯째, 벤처캐피탈의 투자허용, 여섯째, 인터넷 전문은행 설립지원, 마지막으로 빅데이터의 활용도 제고 등이다. 한편 정보보호 산업의 경쟁력 제고와 핀테크 보안 기업의 자체 경쟁력도 강화되어야 한다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 이론적 및 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The recent finance and technology coined the Fintech has emerged as a major concern in the domestic industry. The global ICT companies are expanding the opportunity to realize new revenue streams. Although the global Fintech industry is a fast-growing The domestic Fintech industry is in a difficult situation such as high barriers to entry. Therefore, the need to actively foster Fintech Industry based on high levels of ICT capacity is increasing. The purpose of this study is to activates the domestic Fintech industry. Methods for Activating of domestic Fintech industries are as follows. First, It should be switched from positive to negative regulatory restrictions. Second, It should ensure the security of the information and maintain the security of the system. Third, The deregulation by amending the laws and regulations to restrict the development of the domestic Fintech industry. Fourth, The support of the government and large financial institutions for the development of the domestic Fintech industry is needed. Fifth, It allows the investment of venture capital for domestic Fintech industry Sixth, The government should support the establishment of the branchless bank, Finally, The domestic Fintech industry should increase the utilization of big data. In addition, the competitiveness of the information industry and the Fintech security companies should be strengthened. we provide practical as well as theoretical implications of the research findings
