순회교육을 하고 있는 교사의 소외에 대한 체험들

국문 초록

이 연구는 순회교육을 하는 교사들의 체험을 살펴보고, 이 중 이들이 소외되는 모습을 밖으로 드러내는 데 연구의 목적을 가지고 있다. 이 연구의 연구문제는 ‘순회교육을 하고 있는 교사는 교육활동을 하며 어떤 소외의 체험들을 하는가?’이다. 연구문제를 해결하기 위해 A지역에서 근무하고 있는 순회교사 10명을 대상으로 면담을 통해 질적연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과는 ‘수업이 시작되기 전부터 느껴지는 구별되는 힘듦’, ‘수업에 대한 작은 배려의 목마름’, ‘시간 안에 지킬 수 없는 개별화 교육계획 작성의 강제’, ‘틀려도 맞추어야 하는 나이스(NEIS)’, ‘내가 보는 나와 주변동료가 보는 나로 부터 느껴지는 소외감’, ‘학생의 떠나감’으로 나타났다. 이 결과들은 수업 전, 수업 중, 개별화교육 계획 작성, 학생의 교육행정정보시스템 관련 업무, 학생의 죽음과 같은 체험들을 통해 소외를 겪고 느끼는 모습이 드러났다.

영문 초록

This study examined teachers who were participating in itinerant education and its aims were to shed light on their firsthand experience of exclusion. The objective of this study was to focus on the problem of what kind of feelings do teachers participating in itinerant education experience or may have experienced in the past. In order to achieve this aim, interviews were conducted on 10 itinerant teachers in a qualitative study. The findings highlighted several key areas and included: ‘a feeling of stress even before starting to teach’, ‘a desire for small consideration regarding the class’, ‘the pressure to create the individualized education plan which is actually impossible to implement in time’, ‘the pressure to follow NEIS despite information being wrong’, ‘the feeling of exclusion due to how I view myself and how others view me’, and ‘students leaving (death of students).’ Such findings indicated feelings of exclusion related to situations before teaching, in the course of teaching, the pressure to create a differentiated curriculum, paperwork regarding NEIS, and the death of students. With such results the study discussed different perspectives relating to teachers who participate in itinerant education and proposed some directions for better itinerant education.
