국문 초록

우리나라의 대 베트남 수출은 빠르게 증가하여 2000-2014년 기간에 총수출 증가율의 두 배가 넘는 20%라는 높은 연평균 증가율을 기록하였다. 이에 따라 수출시장으로서 베트남이 차지하는 위상은 2000년 21위에서 2014년 6위로 수직 상승하였다. 또한 대 베트남 수출을 위한 운송수단에서도 빠른 변화가 이루어지고 있다. 대 베트남 수출에서 항공수출이 차지하는 비중은 2000년 3.7%에서 2014년 40.8%까지 크게 높아진데 비해 해상수출의 비중은 96.3%에서 59.2%로 하락하여 대 베트남 수출이 해상보다는 항공위주로 이루어지고 있다. 본고는 우리나라의 대 베트남 수출에서 1위와 2위를 차지하는 반도체와 무선통신기기의 오차수정방정식을 도출하여 두 품목의 해상에서의 오차수정계수가 항공에서의 오차수정계수보다 커서 해상수출에서의 불균형이 항공수출에서의 불균형보다 빠르게 조정된다는 것을 보인다. 이것은 정보통신기기와 반도체의 해상수출에서 가격 또는 물량조정이 상대적으로 용이한데 원인이 있는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 동태적 이동회귀분석을 통해 환율계수가 음의 부호를 가진다는 것과, 해상을 통한 정보통신기 수출과 항공을 통한 정보통신기기 수출 그리고 해상을 통한 반도체 수출의 환율계수는 감소하는데 비해 항공을 통한 정보통신기기 수출의 환율계수는 크고 증가하는 추세임을 보인다. 이것은 환율하락에 따른 가격경쟁력 악화에도 수출이 증가하나, 해상을 통한 정보통신기기 수출과 항공을 통한 정보통신기기 수출 그리고 해상을 통한 반도체 수출의 증가폭이 축소된다는 것을 의미한다. 이와는 반대로 항공을 통한 반도체 수출은 환율의 하락에도 수출증가폭이 점차 커지고 있다는 것도 밝힌다.

영문 초록

Purpose : This paper, aims to analyse the export behavior of semiconductor and wireless communication apparatus to Vietnam by sea and by air. Research design, data, methodology : This paper models export as a function of exchange rate and trend variable. The dependent variables are Korea's export value to Vietnam of wireless communication apparatus by sea and by air, respectively. Results : This paper, therefore, used the GPH tests. The results showed that all of the estimates of d lie between 0 and 1, suggesting possible fractional integration behavior. Moreover, in all cases, the estimates of d are significantly greater than 0 and less than 1. The results indicate the presence of cointegration and fractional cointegration. Conclusions : The estimated error correction model results showed the adjustment speeds towards the elimination of disequilibrium were negative and statistically significant in all cases. The coefficient on the error correction term of the wireless communication apparatus by sea was far greater than that of the wireless communication apparatus by air. The coefficient on the error correction term of the semiconductor by sea was also far greater than that of the semiconductor by air. Moreover, the disequilibrium in the export by sea was adjusted faster than by air. The dynamic rolling regression showed that exchange rate coefficients were falling for the wireless communication apparatus by sea and air, and the semiconductor by sea but for semiconductor by air.
