영문 초록

This study tried to develop objective factors and items that evaluate result of regional festivals. Especially, MCT's 29 cultural festivals in 2001 were intended for 7 factors 60 items to extract through literature review and expert consult. Some extracted factors mainly Kim(김게섭 1995), Park(박석희 1997), Cho and You(조현호ㆍ유영준 2000) and using convenience, participation, and image of this study were confirmed useful ones through 2 times cultural festival manager survey. Also the other factors, namely promotion, foreigners' hospitality, operation, and economy, were needed for evaluating festivals. And these factors and items supplemented shortcoming, hard to estimate ovjectively, the existed factors to evaluate MCT's cultural festivals. Namely, this study has main defect that surveyed only festival managers and used tourism-oriented evaluation indicators. But this study has meaning that gain reality of objective evaluating factors and indicators.
