영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine effects of role stress (role conflict and role ambiguity) on job performance and job satisfaction in a family restaurant environment. Results indicate that: role conflict is significantly related to both job performance and job satisfaction; role ambiguity is significantly related to both job performance and job satisfaction; and, that role conflict and role ambiguity are related to employee satisfaction. Other results suggest a positive relationship between job performance and job satisfaction, and that job performance mediates effects of role stress on satisfaction.
