한일간 라이프스타일에 따른 여가활동 유형의 선택에 대한 비교연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국과 일본의 라이프스타일과 여가활동유형의 차이점과 라이프스타일 특성이 여가활동유형의 선택에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 실증분석을 위한 연구모형에 사용된 라이프스타일은 선행연구의 결과를 참고하여 측정문항을 선택하고 요인분석을 통하여 안전추구성향, 건강추구성향, 성취추구성향, 지식추구성향, 문화추구성향, 과시추구성향 등의 6개의 차원으로 분류하였으며, 여가활동은 관광활동, 감상 및 관람활동, 스포츠활동, 오락 및 사교활동, 교양 및 취미활동의 다섯 가지 차원으로 유형화하였다. 분석결과에 따르면 라이프스타일 유형은 여가활동 유형의 선택에 유의한 영향을 미치지만 한국과 일본에 있어 그 영향은 다르게 나타나고 있는 것으로 보인다. 특히, 인구특성을 대상으로 분석할 경우 라이프스타일이 여가활동의 선택에 미치는 영향은 한국과 일본의 차이를 보다 구체적으로 나타내고 있다. 같은 라이프스타일이라도 국가별로 추구하는 여가활동유형이 다르므로 라이프스타일은 여가활동과 관련한 상품이나 시장세분화전략의 개발을 위한 유용한 수단으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes empirically the difference of both the type of lifestyle and leisure activities between Korea and Japan. The effect of characteristics of a lifestyle on the selection of leisure activity is also analyzed. Based on the related research results, this paper constructs six types of a lifestyle and classifies five leisure activities that are used in the empirical research model of this study. The six types of a lifestyle are Security orientation, Health orientation, Achievement orientation, Knowledge orientation, Culture orientation, and Show pride orientation. The five leisure activities are classified as Tourism, Impression and Viewing, Sports, Recreation and Social life, and Culture and Hobby activities. Based on the data analysis of this paper, it is confirmed that the effect of life-style factors on the selection of leisure activity in Japan and Korea is different. Also, the same life style gives different impact on the selection of leisure activities in both countries and it is particularly the case when the demographic characteristics are considered in the analysis. Therefore, in developing tourism products or having market segmentation in a country, it is suggested that the life style of people in the target country should be considered.
