푸른어린이집 평가인증을 위한 실행연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 S시에 위치한 국공립 푸른어린이집의 평가인증 과정과 변화를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 실행연구를 통해 연구자는 평가인증 과정에서 발견된 문제점을 발견하고 이를 개선하기 위한 방안을 마련하였으며 구성원들의 변화 과정을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평가인증 준비 초반에 교사들은 평가인증 관련 이전 경험을 통해 평가인증은 어렵고 힘들다는 인식을 하였고 평가인증 참여에 소극적인 반응을 보였다. 둘째, 교사들은 평가인증 관련 문서 작성과 영아와의 상호작용에 어려움을 느끼고 있었으며 평가인증 영역의 전반적인 점검과 검토가 요구되었다. 셋째, 연구자는 이러한 직면된 문제점을 개선하고자 실천 전략을 모색하고 실행하였다. 평가인증지표를 구체적인 사례와 함께 숙지하는 자체 교사교육을 실시하기도 하였고 업무분장을 점검하기도 하였으며 외부 컨설팅에 참여하기도 하였다. 이와 같은 평가인증 참여 과정을 거치면서 푸른어린이집에서는 보육환경, 보육과정, 영아와의 상호작용, 동료교사와 부모와의 관계 측면에서 긍정적인 변화가 나타난 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 평가를 위한 평가가 아닌 진정한 보육의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 평가 방안과 관련 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to examine the case of Pu-reun child-care center which participated in the Accreditation System. For the purpose, this research was analysed how nine teachers of Pu-reun child care center planned and prepared for, carried out, and reflected on Accreditation System. The results of this research are as follows. First, the teachers found the Accreditation System hard compared to previous experiences and they were passive in participating in the Accreditation System. Second, the teachers thought it difficult to make documents regarding the Accreditation System and interact with infants and children, so overall examination of the Accreditation System was required. Third, this research carried out the autonomous training of the teachers and the division of work in order to understand the Accreditation indicators with specific cases. Fourth, the outside consulting was conducted with respect to the Accreditation and the child-care center was monitored on the day of the consulting. Through the participation in the Accreditation System, Pu-reun child-care center underwent positive changes in the child care environment, the child care curriculum, and teachers' interaction with infants and children and their relationship with colleagues and parents. Based on the results, issues about the Accreditation methods were discussed not to just value the evaluation itself but to improve the quality of a real child care.
