교육협력여건을 고려한 수원국의 유형분류에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 논문은 OECD DAC 수원국 리스트에 명시된 국가들의 교육협력 관련 특성을 토대로 수원국의 유형을 분류하고, 그 특성에 따라서 교육협력전략을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 국제기구들이 수집한 통계자료를 활용한 주성분분석을 실시하여 교육협력여건을 설명하기 위한 요인을 추출하고, 추출한 요인을 토대로 군집분석을 실시하였다. 주성분분석의 결과 세 가지 요인들이 추출되었고, 각각의 특성에 따라서 기초교육역량, 성장잠재력, 교육여건으로 명명하였다. 그리고 요인점수를 활용하여 군집분석을 실시한 후, 수원국들을 '고도인재육성 지원형', '종합적 교육협력 추진형', '모범사업 발굴 및 확산형', '포괄적 파트너십 활용형'의 4가지 유형으로 분류하였다. 또한 각 유형별로 교육협력 여건을 살펴보고, 해당 유형에 속한 국가와의 교육협력전략을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to classify recipient countries and develop the educational cooperation strategies of Korea on the basis of educational characteristics. Using principal component analysis, some factors were abstracted from the statistical data that were collected by the international organizations. Based on the abstracted factor scores, this study attempted to classify recipient countries and also examined the characteristics of each type. As the result of the principal component analysis, three factors were abstracted, and they were named as the basic education competency, growth potentiality, and educational environments, in accordance with their own characteristics. Through the cluster analysis using the factor scores, the recipient countries were classified into four types-"support for fostering highly talented people," "driving comprehensive educational cooperation," "excavation and proliferation of best practices," and "using comprehensive partnership." Based on this result, this study suggested the educational cooperation strategy with the countries that are included in each types.
