국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 성인애착이 아동의 또래관계 및 사회적 유능감에 미치는 영향을 조사하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구의 대상자는 서울, 경기, 인천지역 초등학교 4~6학년을 자녀로 둔 어머니와 아동 251명을 대상으로 자기보고식 질문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 불안애착과 아동의 부정적 또래관계는 정적상관이 있으며, 어머니의 회피애착은 아동의 사회적 유능감에서 사교성, 사회참여도, 주도성, 인기도와 부적상관이 있다. 둘째, 어머니의 불안애착은 아동의 긍정적 또래관계와 부정적 또래관계에 영향을 미치며, 어머니의 회피애착은 아동의 긍정적 또래 관계와 사회적 유능감에서 사교성, 사회참여도, 주도성, 인기도에 영향을 미친다. 이상의 내용을 종합해 볼 때, 어머니의 성인애착인 불안애착은 아동의 또래관계에 영향을 주는 반면, 어머니의 회피애착은 아동의 긍정적 또래관계와 사회적 유능감에 영향을 미친다는 것을 살펴 볼 수 있었다. 따라서 어머니의 불안애착과 회피애착은 양육행동에서 부적응적인 전략을 사용하여 아동의 또래, 사회적 관계에 영향을 줄 수 있으므로, 자신의 성인애착유형을 파악하고 부정적인 양육행동에 이르지 않도록 하는 노력이 필요하다는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study is to look into the Influence on which the adult-attachment of mother makes the peer relationship of children and social competence. The subjects of this study were to collect the resources through self-report questionnaire as mothers with children grades 4-6 elementary school and 251 children. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, mother's attachment anxiety and negative peer relationships of children showed negative correlation and mother's attachment avoidance was found to be connected with a negative correlation with sociability, social involvement, initiative, popularity in the middle of the sub-scales of the child's social competence. Second, the mother's attachment anxiety affects children's peer relations, mother's attachment avoidance was affecting sociability, social involvement, initiative, popularity in the middle of the sub-factors of the children's positive peer relationships and the social competence. Taken together the above information, It was able to examine that attachment anxiety which mother's adult attachment is affected children's peer relationships, while mother's attachment avoidance influenced children's positive peer relations and social competence. therefore this suggests that it is necessary to identify their adult attachment styles and not to reach negative parenting behavior because mother's attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance affect children's peer relationships and social competence to use maladaptive parenting strategies.
