국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생이 지각한 사회적 지지와 진로결정 자기효능감을 살펴보고, 이들 변인에서 정서지능의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 관련 이론과 선행연구를 통하여 사회적 지지와 진로결정 자기효능감 사이에 정서지능의 연관성에 대해 검토한 후 매개모형을 설정하여 평가 하였다. 연구의 가설을 조사하기 위해 서울 및 경기지방에 거주하는 4년제 대학생 401명을 자료가 분석에 사용 되었다. 본 연구를 통해 대학생이 지각하는 사회적 지지 중 친구 지지가 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었다. 즉, 친구가 중요한 지지자로써의 역할을 함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 대학생을 대상으로 한 사회적 지지와 정서지능 관련 연구가 미흡하였는데, 이에 대한 자료를 제공하였으며, 정서지능이 대학생의 진로결정에 중요한 변인임을 확인 할 수 있었다. 대학생의 진로상담 장면에서 정서적인 접근의 필요성에 대한 시사점을 제공한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating effect of emotional intelligence between social support and career decision-making self-efficacy, perceived by university students. After reviewing relevant theories and previous studies, a possible mediator, the dysfunctional emotional intelligence on the association between social support and career decision-making self-efficacy was hypothesized and mediational model was evaluated. In order to investigate these hypotheses, 401 four-year University students were recruited, who lived in southern Seoul and Gyeongi province. The full mediational model was best fitted by the data. In conclusion, this study revealed that friend's support of social support’s subvariables perceived by university students would be the most significant supporting factor. In other words, friends performed an essential role as a supporter and not only the importance of the role of emotion intelligence in career decision-making self-efficacy but also implications for the availability of emotional approach in the career counselling for university students were confirmed.
