국문 초록

본 연구는 내재적ㆍ외재적 종교성향이 불안에 영향을 미치는지와 감사지각의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 30세 이상 미혼여성 334명을 대상으로 내재적ㆍ외재적 종교성향 척도, 감사지각 척도, 불안검사 척도를 사용하였다. 그 결과, 내재적 종교성향은 불안에 유의미한 부적영향을 미쳤고, 외재적 종교성향은 불안에 유의미한 정적영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 내재적ㆍ외재적 종교성향이 불안에 미치는 영향에서 감사지각의 매개효과 모형을 검증한 결과, 내재적ㆍ외재적 종교성향이 불안과의 관계에서 감사지각이 매개효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 본 연구는 심리상담 장면에서 특히 종교를 가진 30세 이상 미혼여성 내담자에게 상담방법을 제시했다는 것과 종교의 내면화와 더불어 감사지각을 증진시키면 심리적 안정에 상당히 효과가 있다는 것을 경험적 연구에 의해 검증한데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The goal of this study was to examine whether anxiety was correlated with intrinsic and extrinsic religious orientation with mediating effects of gratitude especially among single women. For this purpose, 406 single women over 30 years were asked to answer the questions attached in this study. All subjects were tested with the methods of Intrinsic-Extrinsic Religious Orientation Scale(ROS), Gratitude Questionnaire (GQ-6) and Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI). The result is as follows. First, the study showed that there is a significantly negative correlation between intrinsic religious orientation and anxiety. And the result tells that there is also strongly positive correlation between extrinsic religious orientation and anxiety, and noticeably negative correlation between gratitude and anxiety. Secondly, both intrinsic and extrinsic religious orientation has a strong negative impact on anxiety. And gratitude has a significant negative impact on anxiety. Thirdly, Structural equation modeling analyses supports a full mediating effect of feeling gratitude between intrinsic & extrinsic religious orientation and anxiety. Finally, the clinical implications and several limitations of the present study and directions for further study are discussed.
