영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to review the statistics related to foodservice industry in the United States. Statistics information was categorized into two types: industry statistics and consumption statistics. The results showed that statistical information related to foodservice industry were produced by government, industry organization(NRA), and private organization(NDP). Government data has been collected on the basis of NAICS(North American Industry Classification Standard) which was very reasonable and realistic. Industry classification used by industry and private organizations were also consistent with NAICS. Implications to Korean foodservice industry was stated.
