국문 초록

본 연구는 다산 정약용(1762~1836)의 교육 사상을 인간의 도덕 주체성과 실천 윤리적 관점에서 탐색하고 있다. 연구자의 논점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조선 후기의 학문과 교육적 경향에 대한 다산의 비판과 대안은 무엇인가? 둘째, 다산은 교육의 주체인 인간을 어떻게 이해하고 있는가? 셋째, 성리학의 교육과 도덕 개념에 대한 다산의 비판과 해석은 무엇인가? 위의 논점을 중심으로 연구자는 첫째, 다산의 논의가 성리학적 사유와 다른 맥락, 곧 "성기호설"과 "자주지권"을 통한 인간 본성의 문제를 다룸으로써 도덕 주체성의 이론적 토대를 구체화하고 있음을 밝힌다. 둘째, 다산은 "삼강령", "사덕"과 "사단"의 재해석을 통하여 도덕적 지식과 교육 개념의 형이상학적 해석을 비판하고, 공맹유학의 기본 정신인 도덕과 교육의 실천 윤리적 성격을 강조하고 있다는 점을 밝히고 있다.

영문 초록

The aim of this paper is to explore Dasan Chong Yagyong (1762∼1836)'s Educational thoughts in the view of moral identity and practical perspective. Dasan reinterprets Confucianism through criticizing academic houghts of Neo-Confucianism. There are three points in this paper: first, what is Dasan's criticism and alternative on learning and educational trend in the late Chosun dynasty? Second, how does Dasan understand human as an moral identity? Third, what is Dasan's criticism and alternative on moral concepts and education of Neo-Confucianism? The researcher examines two things based on three points above: firstly, Dasan reified theoretical foundation of moral identity by treating the problem of human nature by a Theory that nature is tendency to like or hate a certain object (Seongkihoseol) and Sovereignty of the moral action(Jajujigeown) which is different from Neo-Confucian perspectives. Secondly, criticizing metaphysical view of moral and educational concepts by reinterpreting of three main platforms, four cardinal virtues and four sprouts. Also, discovering the fact that he emphasized Confucian moral education and Confucian education practical concepts.
