국문 초록

현대인들은 많은 스트레스를 받으며 생활하고 있다. 현대사회가 복잡해짐에 따라 자연스럽게 인간이 받는 스트레스는 때로는 인간을 죽음으로 몰고 가기도 한다. 한국은 빠른 경제성장의 이면에 필수적으로 발생하는 스트레스로 인하여 OECD국가 중 자살률이 매우 높다. 한국인의 경우 지속적인 생활수준의 향상에도 불구하고 지나친 경쟁의식과 바쁜 시간 속에서 인간관계를 맺고 이를 유지해 나가는데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 결과는 결국 자살이라는 현실로 나타나고 있으며 특히 전 연령층을 가리지 않고 광범위하게 발현하고 있다. 한국의 대부분 젊은 남성은 일정 연령이 되면 징병제의 의무에 따라 군에 입대하게 된다. 특히 한국의 군사적 상황으로 인한 징병제 채택은 군 입대를 자발적이기 보다는 의무에 의한 입대가 대부분이므로 군 입대 후 발생하는 죽음 중에서도 자살과 관련된 논란은 끊임없이 계속되어 왔다. 지난 수십 년 간 군에서의 자살 역시 커다란 사회 문제 내지는 관심 사항으로 부각되었으며 일단 자살이 발생하게 되면 유가족들은 군 당국의 수사결과를 인정하지 않고 이의를 제기하는 경우가 많았다. 그러나 자살자가 명백히 유서를 남기는 등 자신의 죽음이 자살임이 명백하지 않은 상태에서의 죽음을 자살로 단정 짓기란 매우 어려운 일이며 자살인지 아닌지에 따라 개인의 죽음에 대한 예우 및 보험을 비롯한 금전적 문제가 복잡하게 얽혀 있기 때문에 결코 쉬운 일이 아니다. 이러한 상황하에서 심리부검이란 매우 효과적이며 또한 과학적, 검증적 방법이다. 그러나 심리부검 역시 한국에서의 적용 사례가 극히 적으며 이에 대한 연구 역시 일천하므로 미개척 분야이기도 하다. 군에서의 자살 사건에 대한 효과적인 심리 부검을 위한 요소의 개발은 매우 중요한 의미를 가진다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구는 몇 가지 사례를 중심으로 효과적인 심리 부검을 위한 검증 요소를 다루고 있다.

영문 초록

Moderns are suffered much stress during life. As modern society become more complicated, stress is a meaningful factor to contribute human being's suicide. Generally Korean have been pressured by stress which result from fast developmental economic and societal progress. Therefore Korea society's suicide rate is the highest among OECD countries. Although Korean accomplish the up rising of life quality, they have felt difficulties during severe competition and sustaining human relations. As a result, suicide become one of the popular method to escape reality in Korea. The actual scope of suicide generation spread from juveniles to seniors. Most young male generation in Korea should join the military service because Korea government have adopted conscription system since 1950s. Consequently the will join the military(especially Army) of young generation is not spontaneous and if suicide had happened in military, there are amount of dispute has followed. Once suicide happened in military, families of victims are not willing to accept to the opinion of authority and disagree the result of investigation. If there were eminent evidence such as letters, memorandum, scribbling in scene, it can be more easier persuading families of decedent and solving the complicated controversies. However in terms of honor and money, it is not easy work to prove the death was suicide. Under entangled situation, psychological autopsy can be effective, verified alternative method to contribute the death was suicide. Unfortunately, psychological autopsy is an unexplored field in Korea. Therefore the work to study effective factors of psychological autopsy will be a meaningful try in Korea. This study focus on the search for effective factors of psychological autopsy from case studies.
