창의적 환경 유형별 초등학생의 창의인성 특성 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생이 인식하는 가정과 학교의 창의적 환경을 살펴보고, 환경의 특성 및 수준에 따라 유형별로 범주화한 뒤, 그 환경 유형에 따라 초등학생의 창의인성 특성이 어떠한 차이를 보이는지 분석하였다. 또한 창의적 환경이 초등학생의 창의인성에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지, 나아가 창의적 환경의 하위요인별로 그 고유한 영향력은 어떻게 나타나는지 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울시 소재 6개 초등학교의 3학년과 6학년 학생 총 1,139명의 자료를 분석하였다. 측정도구로는 창의환경검사(CEI)와 창의인성검사(CPI)를 활용하였으며, 수집한 자료의 분석을 위해 기술통계분석, 군집분석, 일원분산분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 초등학생이 인식하는 창의적 환경은 5가지 유형으로 분류되었고, 그 유형에 따라 모든 창의인성 요인에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 가정과 학교의 창의적 환경은 창의인성에 대해 통계적으로 유의미한 고유 영향력을 가지고 있었으며, 특히 가정환경의 고유 영향력이 상대적으로 더 큰 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구의 결과를 토대로 창의적 환경 및 창의인성에 대한 교육적 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study reviewed the creative environment perceived by Elementary school students at home and school and categorized such environment into several types according to its characteristics and level. The study then analyzed what difference its type makes in the characteristics of their creative personality. In addition, it also attempted to identify how much their creative personality is influenced by such creative environment and what unique influence individual factors of such creative environment may have on their creativity. For these purposes, this study analyzed the data on 1,139 students in grade 3 and 6 of 6 Elementary schools located in Seoul. As measurement tools, both creative environment inventory(CEI) and creative personality inventory(CPI) were utilized. In order to analyze the data collected, descriptive statistical analysis, cluster analysis, one-way analysis of variance, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted. As a result of this, the creative environment perceived by the Elementary school students were categorized into five types and it was found that the type of such creative environment carries a statistically significant difference in all factors of creative personality. In addition, it was revealed that the creative environment at both home and school has a statistically significant, unique influence on creative personality and, in particular, the creative environment at home has a relatively larger unique influence. Based on these findings, this study formulated several educational suggestions with respect to creative environment and creative personality.
