홀로된 女性老人의 再婚 態度 硏究

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 홀로된 여성노인의 전반적인 재혼의식을 알아보고 전혼만족도를 비롯한 제변인과 재혼관간의 관계를 조사하여 홀로된 여성노인의 재혼연구에 대한 기초적인 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 서울시에 거주하는 홀로된 여자노인 173명을 대상으로 F-test, 적률상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 분석한 결과 여성노인의 재혼 동기는 외로움을 들었고, 재혼 반대 이유는 나이가 많은 것을 들었으며, 재혼할 경우에는 부부만 따로 동거하기를 원하였다. 재혼희망도는 연령, 학력, 건강, 경제, 자녀수 등에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고 연령이 낮고, 외로움의 정도가 크고, 전혼만족도가 좋은 것과 재혼희망도와는 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Due to the prolonged life expectancy in modern society, a lot of elderly people, especially widows compared to widowers, are confronted by the problem of living without spouse for long years. The main purpose of this study is to understand comprehensive views on remarriage of the elderly widows, to investigate their attitude and some variables influencing it, and to suggest some useful data for the further research in this area. 173 single elderly women residing in Seoul were investigated and the data were analyzed by the statistical methods of F-test, correlation, and multiple regression. The major findings are as follows : (1) The cause of the positive attitude toward is 'loneliness', and the cause of the negative is 'old age'. (2) Age, the loneliness and the satisfaction of the previous marriage are found to be influential for the expectation level of remarrige. (3) The lower the age, the higher the loneliness, and the higher the satisfaction of the first marriage, the more positive the attitudes for the remarriage.
