국문 초록

본 연구는 남북분단을 넘어 통일을 준비하는 교회교육에 관한 연구이다. 우리나라의 가장 현실적 문제인 남북분단을 외면하지 않는 교회가 되기 위해서 교회교육은 어떤 방향으로 가야하는 지를 논하기 위해 다음의 세 가지 질문으로 접근하고자 한다. 첫째, 통일교육과 관련하여 극복해야 할 통일관련 문제는 무엇인가- 둘째, 교회교육이 추구하는 통일교육의 기초와 목적은 무엇인가- 셋째, 통일을 준비하는 교회교육은 무엇을 그리고 어떻게 가르쳐야 하는가- 이다. 세 가지 질문은 세 가지 이해(나 이해: 한반도와 대한민국의 현실이해, 너이해: 북한이해, 우리 이해: 통일된 조국의 비젼 이해)로 구성되어 진행된다. 통일교육과 관련하여 나타나는 문제점은 잘못 이해된 통일개념, 통일에 대한 무관심과 준비부족, 이데올로기라는 장벽이라 할 수 있다. 기독교 통일교육의 기초는 성경과 회개, 그리고 평화이다. 통일교육의 목적은 성경적 세계관에 기초하여 평화를 실천하고 평화공동체를 만드는 삶을 살게 하는데 있다. 통일교육의 내용은 기독교세계관교육, 북한이해교육, 인권교육, 민주시민교육, 나눔교육, 덕성교육으로 교육과정이 구성된다. 통일교육의 내용에 대한 교육방법은 이야기를 통한 교육, 다양한 매체를 활용한 교육, 체험학습을 통한 교육, 대화와 토론을 통한 교육, 예전을 통한 교육이 있다.

영문 초록

This is a study of church education focused on preparation for the unification of North and South Korea. In order not to be ignorant of current issue of the unification of North and South Korea, the present writer would like to ask three questions as to what direction church education should take place. First, what are the issues to be solved in regard to the education for the unification- Second, what are the foundation and purpose pursued in the unification education- And third, what needs to be taught and how to be taught in the church education to prepare the unification- There are problems concerning the unification education in church, which are a wrongly understood concept of the unification, an indifference of and lacking in preparation for it, and an ideological barrier. Contrastingly, a sound foundation in the unification education of Christians is the Bible, repentance, and peace. The purpose of the unification education gets people to practice the peace on the basis of biblical worldview and gets them to live the life constructing a peace-community. The contents of the unification education consist of education of Christian worldview, education of comprehension of N. Korea, education of human rights, education of democratic civilian, education of diakonia and education of moral personality. And the educational methodology of the contents is education through narrative, story, various media, experience, dialogue, debate, and liturgia.
