국문 초록

역대하 6장의 솔로몬의 회중연설과 그의 성전봉헌기도에 다윗언약이 기록되어 있다(대하 6:6, 10, 15, 16-17, 42). 역대하 6:3-42의 본문은 그 평행본문, 열왕기상 8:14-53과 거의 동일하지만 몇 가지 차이점이 눈에 띄는 데 이 차이점은 역대기 사가의 다윗 언약에 관한 관점을 드러낸다. 역대하 6:5b-6a는 역대기에만 기록되어 있고 그 평행본문, 열왕기상 8:16에는 기록되어 있지 않는데 이것은 역대하 6:5b-6a 부분이 유사문미(homoioteleuton) 현상으로 인해 열왕기상 8:16에서 생략된 것으로 사료된다. 역대기 사가는 역대하 6:5b-6a 부분을 잘 보존함으로서 대조(antithesis)의 효과를 살려 다윗에게 주어진 왕조약속을 강조한다. 역대기 사가는 성전봉헌기도 마지막 부분에서 열왕기상 8장과 달리 모세를 통해 주어진 하나님의 약속을 인용하지 않고 시편 132:8-10과 이사야 55:3을 참조하여 솔로몬이 하나님께 호소한 다윗왕조 약속을 기록하는데 이것은 포로 후기 역대기 사가 시대에 다윗언약의 의미를 증대시킨다. 마치 시편 89편이 다윗언약의 무조건성에 근거하여 다윗왕조 회복의 소망을 노래한 것과 같이 역대기 사가는 성전봉헌기도 마지막 부분에서 다윗언약을 강조하여 포로 후기 독자들에게 다윗왕조 회복의 근거를 제공한다. 역대하 6장에서 솔로몬이 그의 회중연설과 성전봉헌기도에서 반복하여 언급하는 “하나님이 다윗에게 말한 것”은 성전건축 약속과 다윗계열에게 준 왕조약속을 의미한다. 솔로몬은 첫 번째 약속인 성전건축이 완료되었을 때 영원한 다윗왕조에 관한 두 번째 약속을 바라본다. 두 번째 약속의 성취를 위한 솔로몬의 간구는 포로 후기 역대기 사가의 다윗왕조 회복에 대한 갈망을 표출한다.

영문 초록

In 2 Chronicles 6, the Davidic covenant is present in both Solomon’s address to the assembly and his Temple dedication prayer in vv. 6, 10, 15, 16-17, and 42. Although the Chronicler’s text of 2 Chr 6:3-42 almost identical with its parallel text in 1 Kgs 8:14-53, some noticeable variances shed light on the Chronicler’s view of the Davidic covenant. The plus of 2 Chr 6:5b-6a is due to the author of 1 King’s omission from his Vorlage by homoioteleuton. In the preservation of 2 Chr 6:5b-6a, the Chronicler could highlight the royal promise to David by the use of antithesis. At the conclusion of the dedication prayer, the Chronicler cites Solomon’s appeal to God’s promise to David as found in Psalm 132:8-10 and Isa 55:3 rather than God’s promise through Moses. This citation enhances the meaningfulness of the Davidic covenant in the Chronicler’s time. The Chronicler’s emphasis on the Davidic covenant at the conclusion of dedication prayer provides the Chronicler’s audience a source of hope for the restoration of the Davidic kingdom as Ps 89 does by relying on the unconditional aspect of the Davidic covenant in the midst of the destruction of the Davidic kingdom. Solomon’s repeated mentions of “what God spoke to David” throughout his address and dedication prayer in 2 Chronicles 6 refers to the promise of the Temple construction and the royal promise bestowed upon the Davidic family. When the first promise of the Temple building was fulfilled, Solomon turns to the second promise of the eternal dynasty of David. Solomon’s petition for the fulfillment of the second promise carries the Chronicler’s aspiration for the restoration of the Davidic kingdom in the postexilic time.
